Tonight we’re staying in a beautiful old house in Mexico City that’s rumored to be haunted by the ghost of the previous owner. She was a famous telenovela star here in Mexico- until she was found stone cold dead in the very chair pictured below. No one knows the cause of death, but the house went unsold for years even though it’s a very desirable property. It was finally purchased by our friend Mark, a fearless American who somehow made peace with the ghost and bought the house for a fraction of what it’s worth. Mark can’t be with us tonight as he was suddenly dispatched to cover the events in Honduras for AP Mexico, however, I’m wearing one of his hats in order to fool the ghost into thinking I’m the master of the house. So far so good- she seems happy we’re here and I think the blood we saw dripping down the walls was just salsa roja…
The hat! It doesn’t show up in the picture! Spooky! Run!
